Cow!!

This evening...I spent an hour sorting out 800 pounds of beef between my mom, my sister and myself!  We have 266 pounds of beef in our freezer!  How awesome is that?!

Weird fact Wednesday!

Nugget's turn!! Here are five funny facts about Alison!!

1. She only likes melted cheese on pizza.

2. Her favorite thing to drink is prune juice and milk. Heated up!!

3.  She loves all veggies but green beans!  She can't stand them and will gag if I have her eat one.

4.  She has the tiniest feet.  Has been wearing the same size shoe for the last year.

5.  She is allergic to oranges and orange juice.  It makes her throw up!

Feels like Spring!!

We have been having some very unseasonably warm weather lately...the trees are all kinds of confused as they are already blooming! It is only February! But it is sure nice to look at!!

Random Facts Wednesday...

This week's random facts are about.... ALEX!!  My dear husband!!

 1.  He went to college to become a pastor.

 2.   He spray painted the side of his dad's barn when he was 7...and then hid in the field to avoid getting into trouble.  He still got in trouble.

3.  His high school graduating class had 22 kids in it.

4.  He talks in his sleep.

5.  He broke his ankle last year stepping off a curb.

Heart...

Alison was so excited that she made a heart out of bubbles!!! I just had to take a picture!!!

At the park...

We have been having some fabulous, unseasonably warm weather! It has been in the 60's the last two days! Perfect for the park in the afternoon!!! I love watching her climb and play! she is turning into such a big girl. Doesn't want any help climbing up!!

Hospital scare....

We had a hospital scare over the weekend. Alison was in so much pain we thought it was her appendix. An ultrasound proved that it was just gas. Thank goodness! Still scary and no mama likes to see their baby in pain!

However...here is proof that she is feeling much better!!!!

Dinner...

Sometimes breakfast for dinner just sounds amazing! Last night was one of those nights! Sausage, hash browns, eggs and toast! YUM!!!

Random Facts Wednesday....

To continue onto last week's Random Facts Wednesday...I am going to continue on with some more random facts about me!!
1. I have emetophobia. Which is the fear of vomit/vomiting.
2. If I do not know who is calling, I will not answer my phone.
3. I own way too many pairs of black shoes but would prefer to wear flip-flops every day.
4. I think that sending letters is fun and wish that people still did it more often!
5. I am considering home-schooling Alison.

Food....

Sunday was the Super Bowl. My husband is not a sports watcher normally...but for some reason, he always watches the Super Bowl. We had a few friends over...so I did what I do best. I cooked!! In the pot is a Mookie dip. It sounds odd but tastes wonderful!!! Potato skins and you can see the bacon for the skins frying in the background. YUM! I also made crab puffs but I didn't get a picture of those.

For anyone interested: MOOKIE DIP In a pot fry one pound of ground sausage and one pound ground beef with some sliced onion. Once the meat is browned. Add one can of diced tomatoes and one can of diced green chilies. Stir. Then add one big brick of Velveeta and one small brick of the jalapeno Velveeta. Turn down to low and let melt together. Stirring often. Serve with breads or chips!
